Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist

About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, California. Recruitment or relocation incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Independently perform a variety routine to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures.

Prepare the patient, explain the procedure, set up the imaging suite and equipment, prepare the contrast material for administration, and set up the sterile field.

Perform procedures such as Upper and Lower GI studies, Intravenous Pyelograms, Cystography, Hystereosalpingography, Arthrography, Cholangiograms, Sinograms, and Fistulagrams.

Perform duties, when required, as a Quality Control Technologist, responsible for reviewing all radiographs performed by them or in the department for diagnostic quality prior to interpretation by the radiologist.

Schedule patients for radiology appointments using the computerized scheduling system.

Instruct students participating in the radiologic technologist program.
