About the Position: This is a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Mammography) position located at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. Recruitment or relocation incentives may be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Advanced Leave Accrual or Advanced In-Hire may be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Independently perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations.
Assist the Radiologist(s) and other Health Care Providers needle localizations, breast ultrasound studies and other related breast health examinations.
Provide expert advice in mammographic imaging to enhance patient evaluation and care.
Operate stereotactic or upright mammography unit during stereotactic or tomosynthesis guided biopsy.
Collect and maintain documentation related to the performance of mammograms and resulting studies.
