About the role
About the Position: The Nurse (Clinical/Ambulatory) provides support to the Andrew Rader Army Health Clinic In Arlington VA, helping ensure consistent, high-quality patient care and facility operations. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Perform independent, comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging, and facilitate care
Coordination through a multidisciplinary approach.
Assist health care providers with examinations and procedures.
Assist clinic with patient and staff education including clinic orientation.
Ensure staff compliance with maintenance of competency folders in accordance with hospital and Joint Commission standards.
Prepare and administer oral, subcutaneous, intra-muscular and intravenous medications.
