Nurse (Inpatient Clinical/Ob-Gyn)

About the Position: This position is in the DEPT OF MATERNAL CHILD NURSING MOTHER INFANT CARE CENTER and located at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive MAY BE authorized for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Salary negotiation MAY BE available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Advanced In Hire (AIH) MAY BE authorized for highly qualified candidates.

Provides care for women requiring low to high-risk ante-partum, intra-partum, postpartum, and gynecological care as well as competence in newborn and couplet care.

Administers oxygen, IV fluids, amnioinfusion, blood products, and prescribed medications.

Makes decisions regarding priorities for patient care for shift assignments.

Coordinates case management needs with the case and outcomes management team.

Performs procedures, treatments, and medication administration.
